Each Moment We're Alive is happy to present our 4TH ANNUAL #CaninesFurCancer Support Walk at the Morgan Road Pavilion behind the Irish Cultural Center of Western Mass. The walk will be on Friday, June 23rd, from 5:00-9:00 pm rain or shine. Our hybrid platform allows you to attend in-person or walk where you want. All money raised supports Each Moment We're Alive (EMWA) cancer support network. Each Moment We’re Alive, Inc., is a non profit actively engaged in supporting women to move beyond their cancer diagnosis. A resounding number of patients are left wondering how to go on with their lives, after their energy and health has been depleted, along with their emotional and financial resources. Many cancer organizations focus on research and comfort during active treatment, and we have seen that our work fills a huge gap.

Join us rain or shine at the Morgan Road Pavilion on Friday, June 23rd. Bring the whole family and join us for a fun-filled free event! Take a stroll with loved ones on the trail, indulge in family fun activities, shop from local vendors, and savor delicious eats! Take lots of photos and videos of all the smiles and sniffs along the way, and share them with us on social media using #CaninesFurCancer. Get ready to rock the 2023 event with our commemorative T-shirts and merchandise available for purchase the day of the walk.

Event Activities:

There will be a bucket raffle with many prizes, music, vendors, a photo bench, games, an appearance by a Shriners clown, face painting and kids activity corner. The North End Butcher Block food truck will have food and drink available for purchase. Beer, wine and seltzers will also be available for purchase.

A Top Dog Award will be awarded to the dog with the most donations!

• Can I participate if I don’t have Cancer or I’m not a Cancer Survivor?

o ABSOLUTELY, ALL ARE WELCOME, you don’t have to have cancer or be a cancer survivor to participate in our Canines Fur Cancer Support Walk.

• Can I participate without a canine?

o Of course! Canines Fur Cancer welcomes all human walkers, with or without a canine companion. There will be plenty of cute canines “begging” for your attention. Because canines are cute, canines need/love walks, walking is great exercise, walking with others is even greater & walking with canines for a cause is super great.

• Can I participate if I don’t live in Western MA?

o Yes!!! The benefit of our Hybrid Canines Fur Cancer Support Walk is, that you can participate no matter where you are; Massachusetts, New England, Connecticut, New York, across the country or across the globe. Register using the link above.

• Do I have to fundraise?

o You’re not obligated to fundraise for our Canines Fur Cancer Support Walk, though it helps & it’s easy. Our fundraisers are the canines (& non-canines) who support our survivors. Humans can register themselves or a favorite non-human & fundraise through your contacts via text, email, distribute event signs & social media; Facebook & Messenger, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube & so on & so on & so on…Top fundraisers receive a gift basket on walk day.

• Can I donate a raffle prize or other items for the event?
