Melissa Fennell is a Legal Consultant at Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company. Melissa has two decades of legal and legal business experience. She has extensive experience as a Litigation Paralegal and a versed background as an Estates and Trust Paralegal. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a Certificate in Advanced Paralegal Studies at Bay Pay College. Recently she obtained a Graduate Certificate at the University of Connecticut in Corporate and Regulatory Compliance. And has completed various educational programs to enhance her knowledge in the areas of internal investigations, corporate governance, broker-dealer regulation, and e-Discovery.
As a paralegal who has maintained a steady course in her education and career path she has found much success utilizing her education and prior career experiences to assist in her current role, which includes the defense of corporate litigation, outside counsel management, creating and implementing best practices around low risk and complex litigation, and partnering with business clients to understand and assist in improving current and prior business practices, with litigation perspective. She is a strong leader and a knowledgeable liaison between attorneys, senior leadership, and business partners.
